Consul General Huang Ping visited Yale University
 On May 21, Consul General Huang Ping was invited to visit Yale University to meet with President Peter Salovey and Vice President Pericles Lewis. Education Counselor Yang Jun and others accompanied.

Huang Ping said 2019 marks the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the United States. Over the past 40 years, China-US relations have undergone historic progress and brought great benefits to the two countries and peoples. Exchanges and cooperation in the humanities field, such as education, are essential for deepening mutual understanding and trust between the two countries. Yale University has long played a leading role in China-US educational cooperation. In the next stage, China is willing to work with Yale University and other US parties to deepen exchanges and cooperation in education, humanities, and other fields, continuously enhance mutual trust and jointly promote the healthy and stable development of China-US relations.

Peter Salovey said that Yale University has a long history of exchanges and cooperation with China. Over the past 100 years, it has trained a large number of talents such as Yung Wing from China. In recent years, Yale University has been proudly working with many government departments and famous universities in China. Yale University is firmly committed to international exchanges and cooperation, will continue to develop its partnership with China, and play a positive role in enhancing mutual trust between the US and China.

During the visit, Huang Ping also communicated with Chinese students and scholars of Yale University and visited the campus.
