A new chapter on friendship and cooperation

December 17th, Consul General Huang Ping met with Ronald Mariano, Majority Leader of Massachusetts House of Representatives in Boston, Massachusetts. Congressman of the Massachusetts House of Representatives, Huang Zi'an and Deputy Consul General, Qian Jin attended the meeting.

Huang Ping thanked the Massachusetts House of Representatives for its active efforts in promoting exchanges and cooperation with China in recent years. He said that with the continuous expansion of China's domestic market, gives more space for China's exchanges and cooperation with all regions in Massachusetts. I hope that the Massachusetts House of Representatives will seize the opportunity to continue to support the development of relations with China and make a greater contribution to people in both countries based on the realization of the consensus reached by the two presidents of China and the US in Argentina.

Ronald Mariano said that the Massachusetts House of Representatives is committed to developing friendly relations with China, which is in the common interest of both sides and is also an important reason for the establishment of the Asia Pacific Group by the State House of Representatives. Although the current development of relations between the two countries faces some obstacles, it is still optimistic in the long run. I am willing to promote the Massachusetts House of Representatives to play a greater role in promoting the development of bilateral relations.
