instructions for visiting the visa hall

   

 Welcome to the Consulate-General of the People's Republic of China in New York. In order to save your time, please carefully read the following instructions:

1.     All persons entering the visa office are subject to security check. Please wait in line outside the visa office and follow the guide of our security guards. The disabled, elders over 60,infants or babies and their accompanied parents enjoy the priority to enter the visa office. All persons are prohibited from making noisy disturbance, making Cell phone calls, taking photographs, videotaping in the visa hall.

2.     Those who apply for the following services do not need a queuing number. Please go directly to the designated location and queue in line:

3.     Agencies, Applicants for Authentication service, U.S. Citizens applying for visas must get a ticket from the queuing number machine on the left side of the entrance. When your queuing number is shown on the monitor above the windows NO.3 to NO.6 on the first floor, please go to the designated window as soon as possible. The number will be invalid after being called three times without responses.

 

4.      Please read carefully the instructions for L (Tourism)/F (Business) visa  before you submit the application. Please make sure that you have all the required materials ready or we may not accept your application (For information of visas other than L and F, please refer to relevant bulletin board). Please note that the issuance of visa, including the category, entry times, validity period and duration of stay, is decided by the Consuls according to relevant laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China. No explanation will be made upon the decision.

 

5.     Photo room is on the left side of Window #1.  Copiers are respectively located in the middle of the first floor and by the street side of second floor.

 

    6. Please hand back this Notice to the security guards at the exit when you leave.
