Located in southwest China, Yunnan province is well-known as the "hometown of white clouds" for its breathtaking landscape and unique cultural diversity of 26 ethnic groups in this region.

Invited by the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in New York, the Yunan Ethnic Art Troupe of China completed a successful two-week tour in the Tri-state area, including New York, Long Island, Long Meadow, Boston and Philadelphia, etc.

Yunan Ethnic Art Troupe of China, consisting of excellent dancers and musicians from Yunnan Provincial Opera & Dance Theater, is well bred and deep inspired by the beauty of land and the charm of ethnic arts. During the tour, the Troupe staged a series of featured dance shows and musical performances with unique local instruments that truly rocked the local celebrations of the Chinese Lunar New Year.
