On March 2, Consul General Huang Ping attended the press conference of Zhengzhou Garden and delivered a speech. Deputy Mayor Chen Hongmin of Zhengzhou, New York State Representative Lester Chang, Pennsylvania State Senator Sharif Street, Philadelphia City Councilmember Mark Squilla, President of Pennsylvania Horticultural Society Matt Rader, President and CEO of Pennsylvania Convention and Visitors Bureau Gregg Caren, and Executive Director of Philadelphia Orchestra Ryan Fleur spoke at the event. 

Zhengzhou is the second Chinese city to present itself and set up a garden at the Philadelphia Flower Show. The Kungfu elements, Yu opera and intangible cultural heritage exhibition at the garden and reception attracted many tourists. 

The 2024 Philadelphia Flower Show held its Preview Reception on March 1. Ms. Cherelle Parker, Mayor of Philadelphia, and other dignitaries attended the event.
