On February8th, Chinese Consulate General in New York and Empire State Building jointly held lighting ceremony to celebrate the Chinese New Year of the Dragon. Consul General Huang Ping,Deputy Consul General Qian Jin, Counsellor Shang Jiyuan and representatives from institutions, business, and media communities participated in the event.

That evening, the Empire State Building was lit in the cheerful color of red, celebrating the Chinese New Year of the Dragon. The Spring Festival Window Exhibition of Dragon is also open to the public in the Empire State Building.
