Mr. and Mrs. Liu Biwei, Chinese Consul General attended the annual gala of the China Care Foundation

        On September 10, Mr. and Mrs. Liu Biwei were invited to attend the annual gala of the China Care Foundation at Belle Haven Club, Connecticut.

        In Consul General Liu's brief speech, he thanked the China Care Foundation for their continuous efforts in helping the handicapped children in China and pushing forward adoption of the Chinese Children to the American families. He spoke highly of the wonderful job done by the China Care Foundation in promoting the friendship between the peoples in China and the United States. He also indicated that the Chinese Consulate General would assist in helping the China Care Foundation carry out greater exchanges and cooperation with the relevant departments in China. Meanwhile, Consul General Liu donated a delicate tin-inlaid tea set to the China Care Foundation for charity auction. Buddy Guy and Sheryl Crow were also invited to the Gala, presenting every guest with an unforgettable night.

        In 2000, Matt Dalio, a young American founded the China Care Foundation, whose mission is to raise fund and render help to the handicapped Chinese Children and facilitate adoptions of the Chinese Children to the American families. Since then, the China Care Foundation has been carrying out various exchanges and cooperation with the relevant provinces and cities in China with remarkable donations.

        Deputy Consul General Cui Aimin and other Consuls joined Consul General Liu at that Gala.
