On March 14th, Consul General Huang Ping attends “Blanc de Chine”Porcelain from Dehua Exhibition in New York and delivers remarks. Deputy Consul General Qian Jin, Dehua County Mayor Fang Junqin and representatives from cultural, tourism, business, media communities and influencers participate in the exhibition.

The exhibition displays over one hundred pieces of porcelain products from Dehua and showcases the richness of Chinese ceramic culture. Attendees are amazed by the delicacy and purity of Dehua white porcelain and wish to learn more about Chinese ceramic production, culture and related history.

Dehua white porcelain, known for its creamy whiteness, subtle jade-like radiance, paper-thin delicacy, and clear, chime stone-like sound, was regarded as a prominent export product during the Song Dynasty and the Yuan Dynasty. New York is the first stop for this year’s “Blanc de Chine” international exhibition tour.
