Huang Ping expressed his appreciation to the Chinese Chamber for its long-term commitment to promoting economic and trade cooperation between Cincinnati, Ohio, and China. He encouraged them to take the opportunity of the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the United States, to give full play to the active role of non-governmental business associations, to promote and deepen local exchanges between Cincinnati, Ohio and China, and to play a constructive role in the sound and steady development of the economic and trade relations between the two countries. Huang Ping also invited the Chinese Chamber to organize Ohio enterprises to participate in the second China International Import Expo which would be held in Shanghai during 5th and 11th November 2019 so that they could find business opportunities for Ohio specialty export products to enter the Chinese market.

Leo Chan said that as a non-profit trade promotion organization, the Chinese Chamber has been committed to promoting economic and trade cooperation between Cincinnati, Ohio and China since its establishment in 2005. Last year, they organized an economic and trade delegation to visit China, during which period of time the mayor of Cincinnati, the mayor of West Chester, and the enterprise representatives participated in the first China International Import Expo and gained a lot there.
